KROUMATA - the name derives from ancient Greece, where it was used as a collective term for all the percussive instruments.
Kroumata is a percussion quartet regarded as one of the foremost percussion ensembles in the world and has, since the ensemble was formed in 1978, toured around the whole world with several tons of instruments.
Kroumata is based in Stockholm and also arranges concerts in their own rehearsal space, the old and beautiful movie theater Capitol.
